What you’ll work on
You won’t just be sitting behind a computer. You’ll be the architect and the brain behind our unmanned systems. Your job will be to put the entire system together from selecting the propulsion system and flight controller to sensors, communications, and final flight testing.
Your mission will include

- Component selection & testing: Keep track of the market, test new technologies, and select the best components.
- Integration & prototyping: Connect hardware and software, build prototypes, solder, wire sensors, and solve compatibility issues.
- Flight testing & tuning: Conduct field tests, tune flight characteristics, troubleshoot vibrations and interference, and handle unexpected or critical scenarios.
- Technology scouting: Stay on top of the latest developments in the UAV industry.
What you bring

- Natural curiosity and a genuine interest in the UAV world. You know what’s happening in the industry and have an overview of relevant brands, standards, and components.
- You’re comfortable using a soldering iron, multimeter, and screwdriver. You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty in the workshop or out in the field.
- Familiarity with ecosystems such as ArduPilot, and Mission Planner.
- Ability to look at the aircraft as a complete system, including weight balance, aerodynamics, power consumption, and electromagnetic interference.
