Core Features
An ESD-safe, low-outgassing polycarbonate filament tuned for functional parts and ground support components.
ESD-Safe out of the Box
Measured on printed samples (no annealing). Safe for electronics housings, jigs, and sensor covers.
Ultra-Low Outgassing
TML/CVCM/RML values within ESA limits help protect optics and precision sensors in vacuum setups.
High Thermal Performance
HDT 137.6 °C at load means parts keep their shape under heat and stress.
Desktop-Friendly Printing
Little to no warping; parts up to 200×200 mm print safely on Prusa printers.
Strong, Stiff, Mission-Minded
75 MPa tensile strength and 3.7 GPa modulus support robust, functional components.
Material
Polycarbonate with carbon additives (ESD-safe, low-outgassing).
Drying
6 h / 60 °C, keep in a drybox during print.
Supported Profiles
Prusa Core One, MK4S, XL, Prusa Pro HT90 (+ compatible 3rd-party).
Nozzle / Bed
290 ± 10 °C / 120 ± 10 °C; enclosure not required. Use a hardened nozzle.

Is it suitable for space or vacuum applications?
Yes, Prusament PC Space Grade Black meets ESA requirements for low outgassing (TML, RML, CVCM), which means it is suitable for selected uses in vacuum chambers, laboratories, and space—for example, for electronics housings, cable holders, CubeSat prototypes, and other components that are not heavily loaded.
Do I need an enclosed printer?
No. It prints on common Prusa printers without an enclosure; large models (to ~200×200 mm) show little to no warping.
How much does it cost and how big is the spool?
Spool is 850 g. Typical price is 249 EUR (VAT incl.); local pricing may vary.
